Common duties:
- Prepare horses for competition in a variety of disciplines, manage equine diet and nutrition in preparation for breeding
- Work with students of all ages to improve equitation
- Manage a stable or other equine facility
- Train of beginner to advanced students in equitation and general riding
- Educate future equestrians in two-year or four-year degree programs
- Work with client’s horses and developing a program that will allow the horses to perform to their potential in the competition arena
